Maintenance and cleaning
Before performing cleaning, adjusting, repairing and
maintenance works, the power cord must be
unplugged.
Replace worn out or damaged parts immediately, so
that the power tool is always in a safe operating
condition.
Cleaning:
The power tool must be carefully cleaned after each
use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning products. These
products
may
damage
compromising the safe operation of the power tool.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out; all other works must be
performed by an official dealer.
Keep all nuts and screws well tightened in order to
ensure a safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance works, they must be repositioned
immediately.
Use only VITO-approved tools for this specific
equipment or technically identical parts. Not doing so
may result in personal injuries or damages to the multi-
tool. In case of doubt, you should contact an official
dealer.
Technical Assistance
Your multi-tool should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts sourced directly from the manufacturer.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Battery charging
1.
Insert the charger connector into the micro USB
input of the multi-tool;
2.
Then plug the charger into the socket and let it
charge.
Use only the charger provided.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the power tool
and the charger may be hot, which does not mean that
they are mal functioning.

Assembling and changing bits and adapters
The multi-tool can be used to perform paper cutting and
tightening/loosening operations. For this purpose,
tightening adapters and accessories are required.
Never assemble or change the adapters while the multi-
tool is in operation.
1.
Set the forward/reverse switch to the central
position to lock the "ON/OFF" switch;
2.
Remove the cover and place the appropriate
adapter for the task to be done;
3.
To remove the adapter, you must press the
release buttons and hold the adapter;
For use of screwing bits, both the chuck and the
adapters are magnetic, so you only have to touch the
bit.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The
multi-tool
can
tightening/loosening
operations. For this purpose, adapters and fastening
accessories are used.
When working with the multi-tool, you should take into
consideration some care and procedures of use:
▪ When working with loose or small parts, use fixing
devices to secure the parts steadily and securely;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure on the multi-tool
against the workpiece/object to be worked. If the speed
drops abruptly, reduce the pressure on the equipment
immediately;
▪ When the rotating tool locks, switch the multi-tool off
immediately. Avoid the high reaction torques that cause
backlash;
▪ Never put the power tool down before the rotating
accessory is completely immobilized;
▪ Turn off the equipment in case of:
- Multi-tool housing damage;
- "ON/OFF" switch damage;
- Appearance of smoke or characteristic smell of
burning;
