When the gas ballast valve is open,
make sure that no reactive or ex-
plosive mixtures can form.

Close the gas ballast valve if nec-
essary.

If inert gas is necessary, contact
KNF Service.
If vaporous media are transferred, the
formation of condensate in the pump
heads can be minimized by opening
the gas ballast valve.
