WARNING
Hazardous dust
Damage to the respiratory passage
► Wipe down the mobile dust extractor and
clean all accessories thoroughly using the
extractor (inside and out) before removing
from the working area.
► Parts that you were not able to clean thor­
oughly must be sealed in an airtight plastic
bag prior to transportation.
► Wear a dust mask!
The machine shall be stored indoors on­
ly.
► Place the mobile dust extractor in a dry
room inaccessible to unauthorised users.

Service and maintenance
WARNING

► Always pull the mains plug from the socket
before performing any servicing and main­
tenance work.
► All maintenance and repair work which re­
quires the motor housing to be opened
should always be carried out by an author­
ised service workshop.

Damaged safety devices and components must
be properly repaired or replaced in a recog­
nised specialist workshop, unless otherwise in­
dicated in the operating manual.
Observe the following information:
Dust-related inspection (e.g. for filter dam­
age, tightness of the machine and function
of the control devices) by the manufacturer
or an instructed person at least once a
year.
In addition, the effectiveness of the ma­
chine's filter should be tested at least an­
nually or more frequently, as may be stipu­
lated in national regulations. The test pro­
cedure that can be used to test the ma­
chine's effectiveness is specified in EN
60335-2-69 AA.22.201.2. If the machine
fails the test it must be repeated with a new
main filter.
Dispose of components that cannot be
cleaned. Use impermeable bags to do so.
Observe the applicable disposal provisions!
Provided maintenance personnel or other
persons in the vicinity are not endangered,
the user must dismantle and clean the ma­
chine prior to performing maintenance
work. Appropriate precautionary measures
include decontaminating the machine prior
to disassembly, making provisions for lo­
cally filtered forced ventilation at the loca­
tion of machine disassembly, cleaning the
maintenance area and appropriate person­
al protective equipment.
Information on sending devices to the repair
workshop
Contact the repair workshop before send­
ing any devices in order to clarify any po­
tential hazards related to extracted haz­
ardous substances. Where applicable, the
repair workshop will send you a special
plastic bag.
Pay attention to the following information,
which is intended to protect persons during
transportation and in the repair workshop:
► Clean the device thoroughly (inside and
out).
► Remove the filter/disposal bag.
► Where applicable, pack the device in the
plastic bag that has been provided so that it
is air-tight.
► Attach a list of the extracted hazardous sub­
stances on the outside of the air-tight pack­
aging.
