3.1.

Tappet contact

General instructions
We recommend: Install the sash and frame part on the hinge side in the up-
•
per third of the door (centre mark ±2 mm).
• The residual airgap between sash and frame part should be 4 ±2 mm.
• Approximately 10 cm of reserve cable is necessary for installation of electri-
cal components with cable connections (e.g. EAV motor housing, frame-si-
de and sash-side tappet contact and frame power supply)
• Minimum cutting dimensions for sash part must be at least 35 mm on the
backset. If possible, cut deeper (reserve cable).
• No cutting is necessary for the frame-part tappet contact for plastic and
aluminium profiles. The reserve cable is in the profile/hollow chamber. The ∅
13 mm drill hole for the cable passage is horizontal through the entire frame.
The frame power supply is positioned over spacers for plastic profiles (see p.
22).
