Included accesories:
(Fig. 1 depending on the reference):
1 Indoor 2-output power supply
1 F watertight cover.
General features
10 element Yagi UHF antenna (directional) with
1
Microstrip
technology and printed FM / High
VHF dipole.
BOSS-Tech technology automatically adjusts
VHF and UHF gain to deliver optimum signal
output levels at all times. Signals pass through
when power is not applied (passive mode).
Kit package including an FM / High VHF / UHF
antenna and a 120V~ ±10% indoor power
supply.
The included indoor power supply activates
the BOSS-Tech system built into the Diginova
antenna. The antenna can also be used in passive
mode.

Installation
Always install the antenna with a good line of
sight to the transmitter for best results (fi g. 2).
A mast diameter between 1" 3/8 and 1" 3/4 (35 to
45mm) is recommended.
The antenna may be installed for horizontal or
vertical polarity (fi gs. 3 & 4).
Attach the antenna to the mast following the
steps shown for a good grip (fi gs. 4a/b 2).
Tighten the connecting bolts snug so that
the antenna can then be turned towards the
transmitter (fi gs. 4a/b 3) and then secure.
COAX CABLE RECOMMENDATIONS
Minimum bending radius: (RG-59, RG-6) 3 inch
radius. Tighter bends will cause shorts and
changes in impedance.
Tension: (Televes T-100) 75 pounds maximum.
There should be no tension on the cable once it
is installed.
Staples or clamps: The use of fl at staples with
coax cable is not recommended, only round
headed staples should be used.
Heat: Maximum temperature limit 176°F (80°C).
Keep cable away from heating vents and water
heaters.
Crushing: Coax should not be installed in a
manner that would allow it to be crushed, stuff ed
or wedged into areas where the cable could be
pinched.
Moisture: Most cable jackets will withstand
outdoor environments. However, connections
and splices must be sealed to prevent water
damage.
Installing the indoor power supply
Install the indoor power supply in an easy to
access location keeping it away from heat,
moisture or excessive dust and avoiding long
cable runs between the antenna and the power
supply (fi g. 5).
Both the antenna and the indoor power supply
use "F" connectors.
To avoid undesired cable slack it is not advisable
to use more than one service loop. Double check
the cable used is in perfect condition and is not
crushed and/or pinched.
Installation diagram
Follow the diagram shown in fi gure 7.
Use the provided watertight cover to protect the
outdoor antenna connection (fi g. 6 and 8).
