5. Training
5.1 GENERAL
WARNING! Danger of health damage or even death due to improper or excessive training!
•
Do not overexert yourself or others when performing the training! Always respect the
individual general and daily fitness!
Warm up and warm down sufficiently before and after each training session!
•
Risk of injury due to trailing pedals and cranks! The device does not have a freewheel hub:
•
the flywheel still drives the pedals when you stop pedaling.
- Always use the device with full attention.
- If the pedals are turned too strongly by the flywheel during exercise, press down the brake
knob below the multi-position handle: The flywheel is braked.
- Reduce the speed slowly and carefully. Bring the pedals to a complete standstill before
descending.
Make sure that the pedal you descent from last is in the lowest position.

5.2 PREPARING, PERFORMING AND COMPLETING THE TRAINING
Direct preparations next to the device
•
Follow all warnings and safety instructions for a healthy workout.
•
Perform suitable stretching exercises before training (see Chap. 5.3).
•
Select a target heart rate based on your age, current fitness and training goal (see chap. 5.4).
•
If available and desired, place a suitable heart rate sensor that connects to the speed bike.
•
Switch on the device: To do this, connect it to the power supply and then connect the power supply
to a suitable power outlet.
•
Start the SPORTSTECH LIVE APP on your cell phone or tablet. If not already installed, scan the QR
code shown on the display knob to do so.
•
Your Speedbike will automatically connect to the app.
Direct preparations on the device
•
Sit on the device. Check that the saddle position and handlebar position fits. If necessary, correct the
position(s) - see Chapter 3.3, 'Adjustment'.
•
Check that all connections are tight.
•
If desired, set a permanent light color for the current training (see Chap. 5.5).
Perfoming the training
•
Perform the training. Monitor training parameters and adjust resistance if desired. To do this, use the
display knob (see Chap. 5.6).
•
Observe the safety instructions for training. Always train attentively.
•
If the pedals are turned too forcefully by the flywheel mass during the workout, press down the brake
knob below the multi-position handle: The flywheel is braked.
•
If desired, use the additional possibilities of the SPORTSTECH LIVE APP.
Completing the training
•
Finish the training in an appropriate manner. Avoid an abrupt end to the effort.
•
After training, disconnect the device from the power supply in a suitable manner.
•
Perform appropriate warm-down exercises.
•
After training, store the device in a suitable manner.
