6. PREPARATION:
Engine oil
NOTICE
The generator is shipped without
engine oil. Do not start the engine
until lled with su cient engine
oil.
1. Place the generator on a level
surface.
2. Remove the screws ①, and then
remove the cover ②.
3. Remove the oil ller cap ③.
4. Fill with the speci ed amount of
the recommended engine oil, and
then install and tighten the oil ller
cap.
5. Install the cover and tighten the
screws.
Do not over ll ①.
Recommended engine oil:
SAE 10W -30
Recommended engine oil:
API Service SE type or higher
Engine oil quantity:
0.35 L
