SomatXR Overview

The SomatXR Rugged DAQ series is a modular and universally applicable
measurement system. The modules of this family can be individually combined
and intelligently connected according to the measurement task. The distributed
operation makes it possible to position individual modules close to the measur­
ing points, resulting in short sensor lines.
The SomatXR Rugged DAQ series consists of the following modules:
S MX Module: The SomatXR MX modules are front end data sourcing mod­
ules that can be used with a data recorder or a PC/Laptop running one of
the DAQ software packages catman or EVIDAS. They are configurable to
interface to a diverse range of transducers and sensors.

The following SomatXR MX modules are currently available:
- MX1601B-R standard module (universal amplifier): Up to 16 configurable
inputs for DC voltage sources (60 V, 10 V, 100 mV), DC current sources
(20 mA) or current-fed piezoelectric transducers (IEPE, ICP®).
