SAFETY CONDITIONS FOR PRESSURE WASHER
WARNING!
Observe the safety regulations when using the device. For your
own safety and that of third parties, please read this manual
before starting work. Please keep this manual for future
reference.
WARNING!
• The washer is designed for use with cleaning agents intended
for this type of equipment. The use of other cleaning agents
may adversely affect the safety of the appliance. Do not use
acids, gasoline, kerosene or other flammable liquids as a
cleaning agent. Only household detergents (pH 6 ÷ 8) can be
used.
• Do not use the device in the vicinity of other people unless
they are wearing protective clothing.
• High pressure water jet can be dangerous if not used properly.
The stream must not be directed at people, animals, electrical
equipment and the device itself.
• Do not point the jet at yourself or other people to clean
clothes or shoes.
• The high pressure washer should not be used by children or
untrained• staff.
• This equipment is not intended for use by people (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or people with no experience or knowledge of the equipment,
unless it is done under the supervision or in accordance with
the instructions for use of the equipment by persons
responsible for their safety.
• Make sure that children do not play with the equipment.
PREPARATION
• Before connecting the washer to the mains, always make sure that
the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage specified on the rating
plate of the device.
• To connect the washer, use a suitable power cord suitable for
outdoor operation and protected against splashes of water.
• The plug connection of the cable with the extension cord must not
lie in the water.
USE
• It is not allowed to use the washer if the power cord is damaged
or other important part of the device is damaged, eg safety
elements, high pressure hoses, spray gun.
• If an extension cord is used, the plug and socket should be splash-
proof.
• Incorrect extension of the power cord may result in electric shock.
• If the pressure relief switch does not trip, do not let the washer run
longer than two minutes with the gun in the closed position. After
this time, the temperature of the water in the circuit will increase
and may damage the pump seals.
• The washer is intended for indoor and outdoor use.
• Never touch the plug or socket with wet hands.
• All electrically conductive parts in the workplace must be
protected against water.
• The plug on the extension cord must be airtight and not in water.
• Pay special attention not to damage the power cord as a result of
running over, bending or chafing. You also need to protect it from
heat and sharp edges.
• Before switching on the machine, fully unwind the extension cord
from the drum.
• Never leave the device running unattended.
• Turn off the power and water supply during longer breaks in use.
• Do not leave the device in operation without supervision.
• Work in potentially explosive areas is forbidden.
MAINTENANCE
• Disconnect the washer from the power supply when carrying out
maintenance work.
• To ensure safety, use only original spare parts or parts approved
by the manufacturer.
• Use only high-pressure hoses, couplings and accessories
recommended by the manufacturer. These are the elements that
determine the safety of the device user.
• Before use, check the unrolled power cord for damage or wear.
Have a damaged cable replaced at the manufacturer's service
center.
• If the power cord becomes damaged during operation, disconnect
the power supply immediately. DO NOT TOUCH THE CABLE BEFORE
DISCONNECTING THE POWER SUPPLY.
ATTENTION: Despite the use of an inherently safe structure, the
use of safety measures and additional protective measures,
there is always a residual risk of injury during work.
NOTE: The use of an extension cord with this product is not
recommended. If you must use an extension cord, use only
extension cords intended for outdoor use. DO NOT USE
DAMAGED EXTENSION CABLES! Keep the cord away from heat
and sharp edges. Always disconnect the extension cord from
the outlet before disconnecting the product from the extension
cord. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
