1.1 - "IMONITOR" ON-BOARD COMPUTER
The "iMonitor" on-board computer is located on the console to the right of the operator.
The operator interacts with the computer through a user interface.
This computer is multifunctional instrument that enables the operator to interact with a range of functions including the Performance
monitor, FM radio and MP3 media player, Bluetooth connectivity.
1.1.1 - Control buttons (user interface)
The user interface, or MMI (Man Machine Interface), has a rotary control knob and nine buttons. Each of the buttons has a specifi c
function which remains active while the operator navigates through the screen pages.
The knob (5) is used to navigate and select the various submenus. The
active elements in each submenu are subsequently highlighted. Press the
knob (ENTER) in order to edit the relative values and press it a second time
to confi rm the changes made.
The buttons (F1 - F2 - F3 - F4 - F5) give direct access to the submenus
(HOME - TRACTOR - MEDIA PLAYER - VIRTUAL TERMINAL)
Pressing the "MENU" button (1) displays a circle divided into segments:
(each segment represents an application, e.g. tractor):
turn the knob (5) to scroll through the segments and press the same
knob (ENTER) to select an application (e.g. tractor).
pressing the knob again activates the second level circular menu
(each segment gives access to a submenu of the relative functions,
such as, for example, in the tractor application: Engine, Transmis-
sion, 3-point hitch, etc.). Turn the knob to scroll through the seg-
ments; press the knob (ENTER) to access the selected submenu.
Press "ESC" (2) to quit the selected function or value. If the value has been
edited, press this pushbutton to cancel the changes.
The buttons "AUX 1 (3) and AUX 2 (4)" are used to activate specifi c func-
tions of the current application.
1.1.2 - NAVIGATION
The on-board computer is switched on by turning the tractor ignition key.
When fi rst switched on, the computer displays a welcome message, which can be personalised by the user.
After a few seconds a screen page will appear showing the information
about the operating parameter settings that were active and the status of
the tractor when it was last switched off:
