9. Cleaning the appliance

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
The appliance must not be immersed in water or other
liquids, or held under running water, because this could
cause an electric shock.
 Unplug the appliance from the power socket when
cleaning the appliance.
NOTICE!
Possible damage to the appliance!
Incorrect cleaning can damage the sensitive surfaces.
 Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents
or objects to clean the accessories and the housing.
Use a mild cleaning agent, such as washing-up
liquid, and a soft cloth.

9.1. Automatic cleaning

CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
The appliance becomes very hot when sterilising.
Rising steam and hot surfaces can cause injuries.
 Be aware that steam will rise. Do not reach into this
steam.
 Do not hold your head directly over the appliance.
When a programme has finished, the appliance starts automatic cleaning. However,
you can also start the programme manually.
NOTICE!
Possible damage to the appliance!
Escaping liquids can damage sensitive surfaces.
 Do not remove the waste container (6).
 Empty the waste container (6) when automatic cleaning has finished.
