 If you remove the lids and the glass container during or after
cooking, be aware that steam will rise. Do not reach into this
steam.
 Do not hold your head directly over the appliance.
 Never use the appliance near explosive or highly flammable
steam.
 Fill the water tank with clean tap water only, never with other
liquids (except when descaling). Also, do not add any spices
(e.g. salt) to the water.
 Never use the appliance without water in the water tank.
During longer cooking times, regularly check that there is
enough water in the tank.
 Do not overfill the water tank. Observe the mark on the water
tank.
NOTICE!
Possible damage to the appliance!
Using the appliance in a way that was not intended
may damage it.
 Do not use the mixer function when empty.
 Do not kink the mains cable or wrap it around the appliance.
Unwind the cable fully when using the appliance.
 Place the appliance on a stable, level surface.
 Never place the appliance on the edge of a table – it could tip
over and fall.
 Always unplug the plug during thundery conditions.
 Allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 15 minutes
between each use.
 If the cross blade becomes blocked during operation, unplug
the appliance and remove the blockage (see section "9.4.1.
Emptying the mixing chamber" on page 232).
 Never use the cross blade to process frozen foods.
 Never use the cross blade to process high-fibre ingredients
(e.g. mangoes).
