9. Measurements
a. Open the battery cover and insert one 9V-battery in the battery compartment. Mind the polarity indications !
b. Activate the device and select the desired time weighting (FAST/SLOW) and frequency weighting (A or C). Use
FAST time weighting if the sound source consists of short bursts or if you only catch sound peaks. Use the SLOW
setting to measure average sound levels. Select A-weighting if you wish to measure the general noise level and
select C-weighting for measuring the acoustic sound level.
c. Select the desired range.
d. Hold the instrument in your hand or mount it on a stand and point the microphone at the suspected source of the
noise. The measured sound pressure is displayed.
e. When the MAX/MIN mode is activated, the device will hold the maximum and minimum noise levels for a long
time, regardless of the time weighting and the range being used.
Hold the MAX/MIN button for 2 seconds to clear the MAX/MIN. reading. The MAX/MIN indication disappears.
f. Deactivate the device and remove the battery when the DVM1325 is not in use.

Onderhoud
- Enkel geschoold personeel mag het onderhoud en de herstellingen uitvoeren die niet in deze handleiding worden

- Veeg de behuizing af en toe schoon met een droge doek. Gebruik geen solventen of schuurmiddelen om de
behuizing te reinigen.
- Vervang defecte onderdelen door identieke exemplaren.
