8 STORAGE
WARNING!
Long term storage of your machine will require some preventive procedures to guard against deterioration.
8.1
Drain the fuel

Turn the fuel tap to the "0" CLOSE position.

Remove the fuel tank cap, remove the filter . Extract the fuel from the fuel tank into an approved
gasoline container. Then, install the fuel tank cap.
WARNING!
Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous, wipe off spilled fuel immediately with a soft, clean,
dry cloth as fuel may deteriorate painted surfaces or plastic parts.
WARNING!
Start the engine and let it run until the residual fuel runs out, do not connect electrical devices, this operation
must be done empty. The duration of idle operation depends on the remaining fuel in the tank.
WARNING!
Clean the outside of the Generator, store in a dry, well ventilated and protected place.
9 TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING!
All extraordinary maintenance must be carried out by a mechanical maintenance technician.
FAULT
The engine does not start. - No fuel in the tank.
Low engine oil level (war-
ning light comes on)
Electrical / mechanical
malfunction.
The Generator does not
produce energy.

CAUSE
- Fuel present in the tank.
Carburettor clogged.
Missing oil.
- Dirty or wet candle.
- Defective ignition system.
- Safety device (DC protection) to
"OFF".
- The AC pilot light (green) turns off.
REMEDY
- Refill the fuel tank.
- Check the position of the breather valve on the tank
cap (see par. 4.9) Check the position of the fuel tap
(see par. 4.1).
Take the Generator to a Manufacturer's Authorized
Service Center.
Top up the oil on the engine (see par. 5.2).
- Clean and dry the spark plug (see par.7.1).
- Take the Generator to a Manufacturer Authorized
Service Center.
- Set the DC protection to "ON ".
- Stop the engine, then restart it.
