Mixer section

so high that the integrated limiter is

Power supply

when the red LED LOW lights up.

factory-set to a mains voltage of 230 V

Never change this switch position!

2 Safety Notes

The unit, the wireless microphone and the
remote control correspond to all relevant
directives of the EU and are therefore
marked with
.
WARNING The unit uses dangerous
mains voltage. Leave servic-
ing to skilled personnel and
do not insert anything into the
air vents; inexpert handling
may result in electric shock.

ATTENTION: The unit is designed for ap-
plication in Europe (230 V mains voltage).
Never change the 230 V position of the
mains voltage selection switch (32); oth-
erwise, the unit will be damaged.

The unit (incl. accessories) is suitable for
indoor use only. Protect it against drip-
ping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessels filled with
liquid, e. g. drinking glasses, on the unit.

The heat being generated in the unit
must be carried off by air circulation.
Therefore, never cover the air vents.

Do not set the unit into operation and
immediately disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket if
1. the unit or the mains cable is visibly
damaged,
2. a defect might have occurred after the
unit was dropped or suffered a similar
accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by
skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect
the mains plug from the mains socket,
always seize the plug.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth;
never use chemicals or water.

No guarantee claims for the unit and no
liability for any resulting personal dam-
age or material damage will be accepted
if the unit (incl. accessories) is used for
other purposes than originally intended,
if it is not correctly connected or oper-
ated, or if it is not repaired in an expert
way.
If the unit (incl. accessories) is to
be put out of operation definitively,
take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
3 Applications
The unit TXA-700USB is an active speaker
system. It consists of
– a 3-channel mixer with integrated MP3
player / Bluetooth receiver
– a wireless receiver (16 channels in the
UHF range 863 – 865 MHz)
– a class D amplifier
These components are installed in a 2-way
speaker system which is equipped with two
castors and a telescopic handle for easy
transportation. The accessories (wireless
microphone, receiving antenna, IR remote
control for the player / Bluetooth receiver,
mains cable) can be stowed in the folding
compartment located on the upper side of
the unit.
The unit has especially been designed for
mains-independent operation. For power
supply, the unit is equipped with two lead
gel batteries that are charged when the unit
is connected to the mains. Thus, the unit is
ideally suited for mobile PA applications at
events, lectures, etc.

3.1 Conformity and approval

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL
declare that the wireless system (wireless
receiver and wireless microphone) of the
TXA-700USB complies with the directive
2014/53/ EU. The EU declaration of con-
formity is available on request from MONA-
COR INTERNATIONAL.
The wireless system is generally
approved for operation in EU and EFTA
countries; it is licence-free and requires
no registration.

4 Setting Up / Transporting

Place the unit as desired or mount it onto a
PA speaker stand via the stand sleeve on
its lower side.
For transporting, the unit is provided with a
telescopic handle. Push down the unlock
button at the handle and extract/retract the
handle as desired.
A compartment for stowing the acces-
sories is located on the upper side of the
unit. To open the compartment, press the
marking "PUSH".
5 Power Supply
5.1 Wireless microphone and
remote control
For the wireless microphone, two 1.5 V
batteries (AA) are required. Screw off the
housing sleeve and insert the batteries into
the battery compartment (2), observing the
polarity (
imprint in the compartment).
When all the settings required have been
made (
chapter 7.1), screw on the hous-
ing sleeve again.
