SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

Paint
Your 100-T Series outdoor loudspeaker in a white finish can be painted to blend in with its environment. For best results, clean
the surfaces you want to paint with a gentle detergent to remove any traces of grease and sand them gently with a very fine-
grit sandpaper (around 300 grit).
We advise carefully removing the grille and protecting the black panel and the speaker drivers; place a thin piece of cardboard
in front of the speaker drivers and use masking tape to protect the panel. On the back, be sure to also protect the terminals
before painting to preserve a good electrical connection. Apply several thin coats of paint, making sure not to clog the holes
in the grille.
Running-in period
The speaker drivers used in the Integration 100-T Series loudspeakers are complex mechanical assemblies which need a
break-in period to operate at their best and to become acclimatised to the temperature and humidity of your environment.
This running-in period varies depending on the conditions in question and may take several weeks. To reduce this time, we
recommend operating your loudspeakers for about twenty consecutive hours.
Once the loudspeakers' characteristics have totally stabilised, you will be able to enjoy your Integration 100-T Series
loudspeakers' performance to the full.
Warranty terms and conditions
Outside France, Focal equipment is covered by a warranty for which the terms and conditions are determined locally by the
official Focal distributor for each country, in accordance with the laws in force in the region in question.
