The CANNME7 is connected to the vessel's NMEA2000 network.As a
result of this, it can read data from other network devices.
The network menu is used to configure data sources, to obtain addi-
tional information about connected devices and to calibrate specific
data sources.
Take particular care when using this menu Changes can cause
the device to no longer work properly
10 1 Connected devices

> Network > Connected devices
This menu shows a list of all devices connected to the network.
Select a device for more details. At the bottom of the device details is
the option to reset the configuration for this device.
Externally connected VETUS devices may have an option to upgrade
the software. Ask your local dealer for further information.
Select the "Check update" item to edit and follow the instructions
provided.
A physical device may contain several virtual devices which can be
presented to the network. You can see these virtual devices if you
press the "Virtual devices" item.

In this menu, the data sources for the various parameters can be set.
Some items are set to Auto Select, which means that the source is au-
tomatically allocated on the basis of the connected network device.

10 3 Calibration of network equipment

Network equipment must be calibrated by an engineer!
Some equipment connected to the network must be calibrated. For
example, the motor's temperature limits and the maximum rpm
must be provided.
