An illuminating pictogram indicates that the function has been acti-
vated. A grey pictogram indicates that the function has been deacti-
vated. Some icons open a new dialogue window or screen.

Brightness settings

Brightness can be adjusted to three modes: (A) automatic, (D) day
and (N) night mode.
Briefly press A to activate day mode. In day mode, the letter D is dis-
played on the right-hand side of the screen.
Press and hold D to activate night mode. In night mode, the letter N
is displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.
In night mode, the screen's colour scheme is changed to red only, see
section 5.2. Briefly press N to return to automatic mode.
If screen brightness is low in night mode, the screen may be
fully invisible during the day Press and hold the bottom right-
hand corner of the screen to activate automatic mode
