1. Foreword

Thank you for the confidence that you have shown in WIKA by purchasing the TR70 tempera-
ture switch.
Like all other WIKA products, TR70 temperature switches are a combination of customer re-
quirements, state-of-the-art technology, modern manufacturing and stringent quality control.
This model series meets the demand for extremely good functionality.
The temperature switch has a 4-digit digital display, 2 switching outputs that switch to P
potential or one switching output and one analogue output. The set points, the reset points
the contact function of each set point and the optional analogue output are programmable.
The device can be rotated in order to align the LED display.
These operating instructions have been compiled with care. However, it is impossible to take
every possible usage case into consideration. For this reason, if you feel that instructions for your
particular usage case are missing, please contact WIKA, and we would be pleased to provide
assistance. Please observe the relevant national safety regulations during the installation, start-
up and operation of this temperature switch (e.g.: VDE 0100).
Scope
These instructions apply to the TR70 series of temperature switches. A distinction is made
between the version with two switching outputs and the version with one switching output and
one analogue output in individual sections.
The state of technology at the time of delivery always applies, and we reserve the right to make
technical changes without notice.
