Important safety instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING THE PRODUCT,
ALWAYS OBSERVING THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND FOLLOWING THE
DIRECTIONS TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS AND OR INJURIES.
2. Check if the voltage of the product, on the identification label, is compatible with the plug
to use.
3. Avoid accidents. After unpacking the product, keep the packaging material out of the
reach of children.
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people with lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have received instructions regarding to the use of the product or are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety.
5. It is recommended that children be supervised to ensure that they are not playing with
the product.
6. Ensure always place the device only on surfaces flat, firm, clean and dry.
7. Do not use the appliance on surfaces flooded of liquids, on stoves or other apparatus, or
next to the oven, to avoid accidents.
8.For protection against electric shock and other accidents, do not immerse the product in
water or other liquid.
9. Never leave the power cord in a place where a person can stumble.
10. Do not connect the appliance in multiple plugs or extensions overloaded, the overhead
can damage the product and cause accidents.
11. Do not use appliances that have any type of damage on the power cord, plug or another
component. In case of damage to any of these parties return the device to the nearest
center of services for evaluation, repair or adjustment Authorized Oster.
12. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by the authorized service center Oster
to avoid risks.
13. Never attempt to disassemble or repair the product. Any replacement of damaged parts
should be done only by authorized service Oster®.
14. The invoice and the Warranty Certificate are important documents and should be kept
for warranty purpose.
15. The appliance is not intended for use by an external timer or remote control system.
16. Keep your face away during the frying.
