Battery charge status (23)
This icon is indicated when a Li Ion battery is used. It features five
segments which indicate the proportion of total run time available:

flashing (battery low)
empty, flashing, shutdown message
When "SHUTDOWN" is indicated on the screen, the camera will shut
down after approx. 10 seconds.
When the battery icon (20 %) starts to flash, a fully charged battery
should be inserted as soon as possible in order to avoid a camera
shutdown.
If the camera shuts down while used in a hazardous environment,
such as during fire fighting or rescue operations, serious injury or
death may occur to the user or to those relying on the camera's
thermal imaging capabilities as sole navigation source.

WARNING
As the battery ages and loses capacity the battery icon segments will
disappear more quickly, but the battery display will still be linear. This
means that the camera will not switch off unexpectedly and will
continue to give warning of low battery capacity to the user.
Temperature display (24)
The camera measures the temperature of the small area in the center
of the reticle. The measured temperature is shown as a digital readout
o
o
in either
F or
C (depending on factory setting). The temperature
display will include a "+" if the maximum temperature has been
reached.
The camera always shows the average temperature of the area where
the temperature is measured. The area where the temperature is
measured depends on the distance to the objects being measured.
The area gets bigger as the distance from the measured object
increases. Temperatures can be measured more precisely if the
distance to the object is short.
The camera recalibrates periodically. The temperature drift from one
shutter calibration to the next one is approx. 10 %.
ThermalScan threshold (21, optional)
This icon displays the set threshold in either
factory setting).
