Fitting the line connections

Only hand-tighten all screw connections. Excessive tightening of the screw
connections damages seals and plastic components. Do not use any tools!
To fit the line connections to the pump or valve head, proceed as follows:
1. Lubricate the O-ring seal with
dishwashing detergent or soap (not
included in the package contents).
2. Place the O-ring seal in the line
connection.
1. Guide the threaded ring over the line
connection.
2. Turn the threaded ring clockwise until
it is hand-tight.
The line connections are fitted.

Connecting the lines

Prepare the following material:
- Pressure line

- Return, backflush and suction line (not included in the package contents)
- Assembly materials for the lines (not included in the package contents)
To connect the lines to the pump and valve head, proceed as follows:
1. Route the return and suction line from the pool to the filter system.
2. Route the backflush line from the duct connection to the filter system.
1. Set up the lines correctly (refer to illustration A at the start of this manual).
The lines are connected.

Bleeding and checking the filter system

1. Press and hold down the valve lever
2. Set the valve lever to the "RÜCKSPÜLEN" position and release it.
3. Allow the filter vessel

4. Check the filter system and the connections for leaks.
If there are any leaks, unscrew the affected connection and make sure that the O-
ring is fitted correctly.
5. Backflush the system (see "Backflushing" section).
