15 - MODBUS SETTINGS
MODBUS is an application-layer messaging protocol, positioned at level 7 of the OSI model. It provides client/
server communication between devices connected on different types of buses or networks.
In the inverter, the MODBUS connectivity is made under the "Asynchronous serial transmission over EIA/TIA-
485-A. Transmission mode is RTU (ASCII not supported)". For more technical information on its operation, you
can go to the web www.modbus.org.
You can find the readable settings (input registers) on Technical Data section, page no 384.
Also, you can find the editable/readable settings (holding registers) on Technical Data section, page no 386.
