Introduction
The 280 series of high-pressure stainless steel hydraulic rotary control valves are the ideal
solution for control of hydraulic actuators used in arduous environments where internal
leakage must be minimised. The valves utilise an optically flat rotary spool with pressure
loaded seats, to ensure near zero leakage.
The valve is highly configurable to the user's requirements. Variations include 6 flow pattens,
3 flow/pressure sizes, 3 types of hydraulic seal side port, manifold O' ring port, straight or
cranked handle, spring centre or detent action, all with various mounting options.
The valve has been designed specifically to be used in harsh environments. All metallic parts
open to atmosphere have been manufactured from Austenitic Stainless Steels. The internal
components are compatible with hydraulic mineral oil or fluids designed to replace mineral oil,
for advice please contact Sales. When not in use plug all ports to isolate internal parts from
the environment
