11. To disassemble the handle cap sub-assembly from the valve complete the following
instructions:
a. Remove the plastic plug (item 1) located on the top cap opposite the handle (Item 2).
Release the socket setscrew (item 3) located behind the plastic plug with a 5mm (3/16")
A/F hex drive tool.
b. Lift the handle cap sub-assembly of the spindle.
c. Relocate and tighten the socket setscrew. The re-positioning of the socket setscrew
should be done no more than 4 times.

12. Using the above method you can rotate and locate the handle/cap sub-assembly 180
degrees from its original position.
If the handle requires replacing then loosen the half nut (item 3) with a 15mm (9/16") A/F
open ended spanner. Unwind the handle (item 2) from the top cap. Replace with a spare
handle and assemble in reverse (for spares list see page 11 of this document).
