5 Work and safety instructions
General

Trainees, pupils and students may only work with the mobile robot system Robotino
supervision of a trainer or a teacher.
•
Observe the specifications included in the technical data for the individual components and in particular
all safety instructions.
•
Malfunctions which may impair safety must not be generated.
•

Robotino
may only be packaged after it has been completely shut down.
Electrical system
•
Electrical connections may only be established and disconnected when the system is not connected to
the power supply.
•
Use only extra-low voltage (maximum 24 V DC).
•
Ground the Robotino
touching any electrical components and watch out for electrostatic discharge.
•
Always position the command bridge vertically so as not to damage the raised pin contact.
•
Modifications to the wiring or conversions in the control unit are carried out at your own risk and render
the warranty null and void. Use only original replacement parts.
•
