OPERATION

• Switch between filtered and unfiltered water using the Diverter Valve lever.
• When the lever is pointing down, unfiltered water will come out of your regular
faucet.
• For filtered water, move the lever up 90°.
NOTE: If the filter is not used overnight, run the water through the filter for 15 seconds
before using it, and if it is not used for more than forty-eight hours, run the water for
five minutes. This will expel bacteria and accumulated water inside the filter.

Cleaning the Exterior of the RWF-228
To clean the exterior of your filter, use a clean, damp cloth and mild, non- abrasive
dishwashing soap. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Use of polish, detergents, abrasives, cleaners, organic solvents or acid may cause damage.
USE OF OTHER THAN A DAMP SOFT CLOTH AND MILD LIQUID WILL VOID
YOUR WARRANTY.
