Note:Service and repairs to the gas burner may only be carried
out by authorised Customer Service technicians. Therefore, the
troubleshooting tips for the burner refer only to the oil burner.

Faults in oil burner
Possible cause
Burner works only in stage 1.
Amount of water transported is too
low.
Switch head for spray jet opera-
tions is set wrongly or is defective.
Wrong position of stop-valve "hot
water" and "steam stage"
End switch of the stop-valves is
faulty.
Pressure guard (min.) has not
switched.
Nozzles are blocked.
The exhaust temperature stop has
been switched off.
Ignition electrodes have been set
up wrongly or are dirty.
Insulation body has come off.
Ignition transformer faulty.
Ignition cable charged.
Automatic firing mechanism is
faulty.
Stop-valves closed.
Fuel filter dirty.
Fuel pipes are leaky.
Fuel filter leaky.
Suction valve leaky.
Fuel pump defective.
Fuel pump sucks in air.
Vacuum in the fuel pipe.
Remedy
Check quantity transported by the pump
(reference value more than 3000 l/h).
Flow switch for spray jet operations defec-
tive, replace it.
Check quantity transported by the pump
(reference value more than 1,450 l/h).
Check switching point (reference value
3000 l/h); replace switching head if required.
Rectify the position.
Replace the end switches.
Check the quantity transported by the pump;
get it repaired, if required.
Pressure guard is faulty, replace it.
Steam nozzle is washed out; replace it
Clean the nozzles.
Press the "Entriegelung Brennerstörung" at
the operating panel.
If the fault recurrs, remove the cause of the
fault: Decalcify the appliance and remove
the soot deposits.
Dismantle the nozzle holder. Set the ignition
electrodes correctly and clean.
Dismantle the nozzle holder. Replace insu-
lating body.
Replace
Dismantle the nozzle holder. Replace the ig-
nition cable. Remove the cause of the prob-
lem.
Replace
Open the stop-valves.
Clean the filter
Tighten the screws.
Replace
Dismantle and clean; replace, if required.

Tighten the screws.
