Utilisation responsable des écouteurs
Pour éviter les dommages auditifs, assurez-vous de baisser le volume du lecteur
avant de brancher vos écouteurs. Une fois les écouteurs insérés dans les oreilles,
augmentez graduellement le volume jusqu'à obtenir un niveau sonore confortable.
Le niveau de bruit est mesuré en décibels (dB). Une exposition à un bruit égal ou
supérieur à 85 dB risque de provoquer la perte progressive de l'audition.
Surveillez l'utilisation de vos écouteurs. La perte de l'audition est fonction de l'intensité
sonore et de la durée d'exposition. Plus l'intensité est forte, moins longtemps vous pouvez
être exposé au bruit. Plus l'intensité est faible, plus longtemps vous pouvez supporter le
bruit. Pour plus de détails, reportez-vous au tableau* ci-dessous.
Ce tableau indiquant les niveaux de décibels (dB) permet de comparer l'intensité
de quelques-uns des bruits usuels et de voir leur classement quant aux
dommages auditifs.
