2. Application
The Ambu Mark IV resuscitator is intended for pulmonary resuscita-
tion of adults and children with a body weight of more than approx.
15 kg (3 years).
3. Specifications
The Ambu Mark IV resuscitator is in conformity with the
following standards: ASTM F 920-93 and EN ISO 10651-4:2002.
The Ambu Mark IV resuscitator is in conformity with the
European Medical Directive 93/42/EEC.
Application: Adults and children with a body weight of more
than approx. 15 kg (3 years).
Maximum provided volume: Approx. 1300 ml
Length x Diameter (with patient valve): 275 mm x 135 mm
Weight of the resuscitator with patient valve, (without oxygen
reservoir bag and mask): Approx. 415 g
Maximum frequency of ventilation: Depends on the inspiratory
volume used. The rate of expansion of the bag is sufficiently fast for
all frequencies recommended for practical use.
Patient connector: 22 /15 mm (ISO)
Expiration connector: 30 mm male (ISO)
Inspiration connector: (EN ISO 10651-4) 32 mm female for connec-
