It is now possible to perform welding tests to check the
result and the eventual necessity to adjust the parameters
again.
Once defined the parameters configuration, press T5 for a
time longer than 3 s if agrees to overwrite the recalled Job
or press briefly T5 in order to select a different "Job num-
ber" (already configured or empty) to copy the parameters
configuration.
Press T5 for a time longer than 3 s in order to store the
parameters configuration into a new "Job number".
An acoustic signal (beep) indicates the Job has been saved.
9.3
Saving a Job.
Job saving is not allowed by Robot Terminal but only via
the Control Panel.
From Robot Terminal, select the Parameter Selection In-
ternal mode to make the Control Panel operative.
After performing a welding test with the parameters that
you intend to save, briefly press T5 to select the "Job num-
ber" where intend to save the parameters.
D1 reads the number of the last Job used or, if none have
ever been used, of the last Job saved (e.g.: "P01").

If the "Job number" selected is already busy (already con-
B
tains a parameters configuration), the D1 message is fixed
(steady); if instead is free the indication is flashing.
Press T5 for a time longer than 3 s in order to store the
parameters configuration into the "Job number" indicated
by D1.
An acoustic signal (beep) indicates the Job has been saved.
9.4
Deleting a Job.
Job deletion is not allowed by Robot Terminal but only via
the Control Panel.
From the Robot Terminal, select the Parameter Selection
Internal mode to make the Control Panel operative.
Briefly press T5 to select the "Job number" that you intend
delete, shown in steady mode on D1.
Press T5 for a time longer than 3 s.
On D2 appear the "Sto" message (Job storing).

SECOND FUNCTIONS.
To enter the "Second Functions" menu press simultane-
ously T7 and T8 keys.
The choice of the menu voices is realized by briefly press-
ing T7 (for one way) and T8 (for the opposite way).
The menu parameters values are adjustable with M1.
To exit the "Second Functions" menu press simultaneous-
ly T7 and T8 keys.
10.1 Cooling Unit function (H2O).
Available only if Control Panel shows a Job program.
Inside the "Second Functions" menu with T7 or T8 select
"H2O" on D1; with M1 select the type of operation, visi-
ble on D2:
− OFF = off;
− OnC = continuous, always lit;
− OnA = automatic start-up (default).
Press simultaneously T7 and T8 to exit the "Second Func-
tions" menu, saving current settings.
Upon Power Source start-up, if set in continuous or auto-
matic mode, the Cooling Unit starts running to place the
liquid in the cooling circuit under pressure.
If the start command (Arc-On) does not arrive within 15
s, the unit stops.
In automatic operation, the Unit starts running with each
start command (Arc-On) and stops 3 minutes after the
start signal end.
If the coolant pressure is too low, the Power Source delivers
no current and the "H2O" blinking message appears on D1
(error 75, par. 12.3).
NOTE
If the pump turns with no coolant present, you must re-
move all air from the tubes:
− shut off the Power Source and fill the tank;
− disconnect the blue tube of the Torch cable from the
BL fitting;
− connect one end of a new tube to the free BL fitting
and insert the other end of the pipe in the tank;
− power up the Power Source and then the Cooling Unit
for approximately 10/15 s to fill the pump;
− shut off the Power Source and reset the Torch tube con-
nections.
10.2 tln function.
Available only in Spot mode and therefore, in manual
mode or in the Parameter Selection Internal mode if the
Robot or Plasma Unit functions are enabled (rob On or
PLU On).
In both cases, the parameters must be set from the Control
Panel and the welding command Arc-On must be provid-
ed by the Robot Control.
