1.4. Start-up procedure

1. Connect the power cable to the NC 550.
2. Connect the main power cable to a wall outlet and switch the NC 550 on.
3. The machine automatically starts in mixed value mode.
4. Place the banknotes flush stacked on two sides in the center of the feeder and adjust the two banknote
limiters for best counting results. If the banknotes are not stacked flush or centered, counting errors are
possible.
Please note:
To avoid miscounting and damage to the unit the following banknotes should be separated out before
counting:
1. pasted banknotes
2. washed banknotes
3. very dirty banknotes
4. damaged banknotes
