9. Transportation and Storage
In order to transport the generator, place the engine switch in the "O" OFF position and close the fuel valve in
order to avoid leakages. Spilled fuel or its vapor might ignite.
Before storing the generator for a prolonged period of time:
A. Make sure the storing area is free of humidity and excessive dust.
B. Do pre storing maintenance according to the table below.
WARNING: The contact with the hot engine or with the exhaust system might cause burning. Allow the
engine and exhaust system to cool down before transporting the generator. Avoid dropping or denting the
generator, do not position heavy objects on it.
STORAGE TIME
Up to 2 months
From 2 months to 1 year
More than 1 year
10. Procedures for Storage
ATTENTION:
drainage in a ventilated place and with the engine stopped (in the case of drainage through screw). Do not
smoke neither work with fire or sparks during the procedure.
A. Let the engine run with the tank valve closed until the engine turns off or drain through the draining screw.
Figure 9.6.
B. Remove the spark plug and pour one spoon of new engine oil into the cylinder. Rotate the engine slowly
several times to spread the oil and then reinstall the spark plug.
C. Pull the starting cord slowly until you feel resistance. At this point the piston is at its compression stage and
both ports are closed. storing the engine at this position will help prevent damages caused due to oxidation.
Before making it work again, drain the fuel tank and fill it in with new gasoline.
Note: Remember that the S950MG model is two-stroke, 50:1, Gasoline: Oil.
No prepartion is necessary. Fill in the tank with new gasoline.
Fill in the tank with new gasoline.
Drain the carburetor shell(let the engine run, close the valve untilthe engine turns off or drain through the
drainage screw.)
Drain the sedimentation shell of the fuel valve.

Drain the sedimentation shell of the fuel valve.
Remove the spark plug. put one soup spoon of engine oil inside the cylinder through the spark plug hole and

Reinstall the spark plug.
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under certain circumstances. Do fuel
