16. Starting and turning off the engine
Starting the Engine
• Be sure to disconnect the equipment connected to the generator's outlet. The generator might become heavy
for starting if there is equipment connected to it;
• Place the fuel valve in the ON position;
• Close the choke;
• Place the engine switch in the ON position.
Start
• Pull the cord slightly until you feel resistance and then pull it sharply.
• After some seconds open the choke.
WARNING: Do not allow the cord to return violently to the spool in order to avoid damage to the starting system.
Return it smoothly.
Turning the engine off
Emergency Stop: In order to have an emergency stop just place the "I/O" swivh on "O".
17. After the use
• Disconnect the battery charging cables (12Vcc output).
• Place the engine switch in the "O" (OFF) position;
• Close the fuel valve.
