FIGURE 8.9
Much equipment with engines needs a higher power than the nominal power during starting.
Do not exceed the specified current limit for any equipment, if an overload occurs protection can be activated.
Reduce the electric load in the circuit, wait some minutes and then rearm the overload protection switch. Figure
8.9.
10. 12Vcc Socket and Applications
The 12V output must be used only to charge automotive 12V batteries.
The battery must be connected to the 12Vcc terminals of the generator according to the poles – battery's positive
pole in the red terminal (+) of the generator and battery's negative pole in the black terminal (-) of the generator.

11. Overload Switch
The overload switch (or fuse) will automatically turn off the 12Vcc output circuit when there is an overload, when
the battery has a short circuit or when there is a failure in the electric connections between the battery and the
generator.
The circuit protector indicator will come out to indicate that the protector turned the circuit off. Wait some minu-
tes until the circuit cools down and then push the switch inside again to rearm the circuit protector.
12. Connecting the Battery Cables
Before connecting the charging cables to a battery that is installed in a vehicle, disconnect the terminal of the
negative pole of the battery of the vehicle.
Do not connect the 12vcc output to the vehicle's circuit.
ATTENTION:
Batteries might release explosive gases, keep the batteries away from sparks, flames
and cigarettes and promote adequate ventilation.
