button, the time passes continuously. The minimum time for preparation is
5 minutes. It is not possible to set the preparation time to less than 5 minutes.

This button starts the chosen programme. It is possible to interrupt the pro-
grammes by pressing this button as well. When you interrupt the programme, the
preselected time is interrupted as well. As soon as you press the button START/
BREAK, the appliance will restart. Advice: If the preparation procedure does not
start again within 10 minutes, the appliance will be turned off automatically.
Then, you need to press the button POWER and do all the settings again.
Please do not press the button several times. In order to avoid damages of the
compressor, you need to wait at least 5 minutes before pressing the button again.

MAKING ICE CREAM

1.
Prepare the ingredients for the ice cream as stated in the recipe. If the ice
cream mixture has to be cooked, this should be done a day in advance so the
mixture has time to cool thoroughly.
2.
Refrigerate the prepared ice cream mixture or the required ingredients to a
temperature of 6–8 °C.
3.
Puree fruit just before mixing the ingredients and add pieces of fruit at the
end.
4.
Use alcohol sparingly and do not add until the end of the freezing time,
because alcohol prolongs the time needed for freezing.
5.
Place the removable ice cream bowl in the space provided in the compressor
housing (4). Fold down the handle of the ice cream container, otherwise the
lid cannot be put on later.
6.
Place the mixer (2) on the shaft in the middle of the ice cream bowl.
7.
Place the mixer exactly on the upright shaft on the bottom of the ice cream
bowl (3).
8.
Fill the refrigerated ingredients into the removable ice cream bowl. Be sure
not to exceed the maximum capacity of approximately ¾ of the bowl as the
ice expands due to the freezing process. However, we recommend filling the
ice bowl at least halfway for a homogeneous freezing process.
9.
Place the lid on the ice cream bowl.
