THERMEX CENTRALVENTILATION VILLA II
CONNECTION OF THE PCB
NOTE: The Centralventilation Villa II should only be connected to the mains when the cooker hood, valve, and motor have been connected to the
PCB.
The PCB is to be placed in a suitable location in the house. Pay special attention to the PCB's operating temperature range (-20°C to +50°C) when
selecting the location of the PCB. The PCB should NOT be covered over. The PCB is connected in accordance with the electrical schematic diagram,
so that the central ventilation system, the motorised valve and the cooker hood are connected to the PCB.
The Centralventilation Villa II regulates the central ventilation system's motor, so it is important that the motor can be voltage regulated. If
in doubt, always contact the motor manufacturer. Voltage regulated motors should be connected directly to the PCB. If the central ventilation
system has a multi-wound motor, the wire for the maximum motor speed should be connected to the PCB.
NOTE: The Centralventilation Villa II motor should always be connected in accordance with the motor manufacturer's instructions.
The cooker hood's power connection can be connected directly to the mains supply or connected to the 230 V output on the PCB. Remember to
disconnect the earth connection ( ) unless otherwise indicated in the instructions for the cooker hood.
NOTE: When the Centralventilation Villa II is connected to the mains supply, the motor will run at maximum speed for approximately 5 min. This
will happen every time the PCB is reconnected after a power interruption.
