If the connectivity module is installed for
the first time, remove the plastic
placeholder D from the connectivity
module compartment, and place the
connectivity
compartment
orientation (Fig. 8b). Note: Store the
placeholder D in a safe place. Reinsert
the
placeholder
communications module is removed.

Next place new battery B on the top of
the connectivity module with the "+"
polarity facing up (Fig. 8a).

Place the cover A over the battery and
turn it ¼-turn clockwise to lock using a
flat screwdriver or a coin.

mobile device or make sure you are running
the latest version of the app.
Launch the 'Bosch Toolbox' app on your
mobile device and click on "My Tools"
icon/tile. Follow the app directions to pair
the tool with the mobile device.

Lock-off Release Buttons
The Lock-off release buttons are designed
to prevent accidental starts. To operate,
press the release button 1 with your thumb
on either side of handle to disengage the
lock, then pull the trigger 2 (Fig. 1). When
the trigger is released the button will
engage the safety switch automatically, and
the trigger will no longer operate.

When starting the tool, hold it with both

effect. For a finished cut, a cross cut blade
or miter blade is rec om mended.
