BATTERY CHARGING
The screwdriver is supplied with a partially charged battery. It is recommended to charge it for 5 hours for
the first time. The battery should be charged in ambient temperatures ranging from 4°C to 40°C.
Insert the charger cord plug into the charging socket (7) in the screwdriver casing (fig. A).
Connect the charger to a mains socket of 230V AC.
The charging indicator (LED) (8) will be lit on the screwdriver casing to signal that charging is under
way (fig. B).
The charging indicator (LED) will remain lit as long as the battery is charged and will go off to signal that
the battery is fully charged.
The battery should not be charged longer than 8 hours. Exceeding this time limit may cause damage
to battery cells.
The screwdriver battery has the so called "sleeping" function, which means that, when unused, the
screwdriver deactivates all unnecessary circuits to save battery power. The battery charge level can not
be checked and the lighting can not be switched on in this phase. When the switch button is pressed for a
short time, all functions will be restored.
Batteries become heated, when they are charged. Do not commence any works, just after the battery
was charged. Wait until it reaches room temperature. This will prevent the battery from damage.
BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL INDICATION
The screwdriver is equipped with battery charge level indicator (LEDs) (3). Three LEDs indicate the battery
charge level. In order to check the battery charge level:
Press the charge level indicator button (4) (fig. C).
When all three LEDs are lit, it means that the battery is fully charged.
When two LEDs are lit, it means that the battery is partially discharged.
When only one LED is lit, the battery is discharged and it must be charged.
LIGHTING
Each time the lighting button is pressed (10), the lighting LED is switched on/off (11) that lights working
area (fig. D).
INSERTING / REMOVING WORKING BITS
Pull of the tool chuck sleeve (1) overcoming the spring resistance.
Insert a working bit shank to the chuck (1), inserting it all the way (it may be necessary to rotated the
working bit until it reaches the correct position).
Release the mounting sleeve, which will fasten the working bit.
The working tool is removed in the reverse order to the installation.
When short screwdriver tips and bits are used, the additional adapter for screwdriver bits must be used.
ADJUSTABLE HANDLE
The screwdriver handle can be positioned straight (in the axis of the spindle) or at an angle. The handle is
maintained in each of the position with a latch.
Press the handle lock button (5).
Rotate the handle by 180
Make sure the handle lock button (5) snapped and the handle is properly secured.
SPINDLE BRAKE
The cordless screwdriver is equipped with an electronic brake, which stops the spindle immediately after
the switch button is released. The brake ensures precision when tightening or drilling and prevents free
spindle rotation after it is switched off.
