WARNING, indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

harm to your pet.
NOTICE, is used to address safe use practices not related to personal injury.
The Cheese Automatic Cat Teaser is not a child's toy. This product is intended for cats- not for children or dogs. Do not
allow unsupervised use while in the presence of children.
Do not use the Cheese Automatic Cat Teaser until you have read the entire Operating Guide.
Do not use the Cheese Automatic Cat Teaser on an elevated surface such as a table or counter. Use on the floor only.
This product should only be used in accordance with the instructions in the Operating Guide.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. If rechargeable batteries are used, they must be removed from the toy prior to
recharging, and must only be charged under adult supervision.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged
Batteries are to be inserted with correct polarity
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited
Adult supervision is required around cats. Do not allow unattended "Play-While-You-Are-Away" Mode until you know
your cat uses the toy as intended.
Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries. When batteries are stored or disposed, they must be
protected from shorting. Dispose of used batteries properly.
These instructions must be retained and passed on with ownership.

Battery Installation
• Remove the battery door which is located on the bottom of the toy (A).
• Insert 3, AA batteries into the battery compartment (B).
• Replace the battery door and ensure it is closed properly.
Operating Instructions
Place the toy on a flat, sturdy surface to use.
One-Time-Play Mode
• Press and release power button
located on top of the toy to turn on power.
• The toy will beep once to indicate that a single play session has been activated.
• The toy will automatically turn off after 10-15 minutes.
• If you wish to end play session before the toy automatically turns off, press the
power button for 3 seconds then release. The toy will beep twice when powered
off.
"Play-While-You-Are-Away" Mode
Observe your cat playing with the toy before you enable the "Play-While-You-Are-
Away" mode. Make sure your cat can safely play with the toy in this mode, and that
the toy is working properly before leaving your cat alone.
• To activate multiple play sessions throughout the day; start with the toy off, press
and hold the power button
until the toy beeps 3 times. The audible beeps
indicate the toy will cycle through 3 play sessions.
• The next play session will begin 2 hours after the first play session ends. The toy
will beep at the beginning of second play session. The final play session will
begin two hours after the second play session has finished.
• Each play session will last 10-15 minutes. The time between sessions is 2 hours.
• The total "Play-While-You-Are-Away" period is 4.5 hours.
• If you wish to turn the toy off, press the power button
for 1 second, then
release. The toy will beep twice when powered off.
• Each time "Play-While-You-Are-Away" mode is activated, and prior to leaving
your cat unsupervised with the toy, ensure that the toy is in a safe location for your
cat to play.
The "Play-While-You-Are-Away" mode should be used at the owner's discretion.
To Ensure Proper Function
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix standard alkaline or rechargeable batteries.
• Exhausted batteries should be removed immediately.
Important Recycling Advice
Please respect the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment regulations in
your country. This equipment must be recycled. If you no longer require this
equipment, do not place it in the normal municipal waste system. Please return
it to where it was purchased in order that it can be placed in our recycling system. If
this is not possible, please contact the Customer Care Centre for further information.
