Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer be liable for damage resulting from the improper use of the device for
which it has not been designed. All risks are the user's full responsibility.
Usage should also involve respect for the instructions, operating rules, installation manual and all documents that accompany
it, in addition to respect for installation conditions, applicable regulations and maintenance provisions.
6.
DISASSEMBLY AND RECYCLING
System disassembly is particularly simple. However, in accordance with safety rules this should be carried out by qualified
personnel.
The collector is largely comprised of resistant and recyclable plastic materials.
Both the packaging and the device and all its contents should not be discarded in the rubbish but rather disposed of
according to applicable regulations.

PROTECTION AGAINST EXCESS TEMPERATURES. SAFETY VALVES
OKSOL-150 integrates the safety devices required in
a solar system.
• Primary or solar circuit: A 3 bar safety valve
guarantees safety and correct system operation.
• Absorber design assumes solar fluid dilation of up
to 1.2 litres. As a consequence pressure fluctuation
inside the absorber is minimal.
We recommend covering the collector during
prolonged absence of DHW consumption during low
consumption periods (summer, etc.). The tank should
not be drained. Do not close the inlet valve (each
time the water reaches the maximum temp. A certain
amount of water will be drained, which will be replaced
by tap water at a lower temp.).
The collector can be covered with an opaque and safe
tarpaulin, to prevent solar radiation acting on it.
• DHW circuit: A 4.5 bar pressure and 95ºC safety
valve guarantees optimum service range.
8.
ANTI-FREEZE PROTECTION
Solar circuit
The solar circuit heat transfer fluid contains a percentage of glycol, which varies depending on the weather at the system
location. This percentage is established as a function of the historical minimum for the area and therefore the circuit is
protected against freezing. The anti-freeze fluid sheet should clearly reflect the glycol-water mixture minimum operating
temperature.
The primary circuit is loaded ready for the customer with a concentration of 50% propylene glycol, which guarantees a
freezing point below - 35°C (see item 14).
DHW circuit
For extreme climate areas Orkli has designed an anti-freeze kit. Please contact our technicians for further information about
this device.
In the event of a prolonged absence, empty the solar accumulator (see chapter "Accumulator Drainage").
