5. MAINTENANCE

!
Unplug the power cord before cleaning or maintenance.
● Check frequently to see if the gas supply pipes (rubber hose) are in good condition without aging,
cracks. Pay attention to the periodic replacement of the rubber hoses. To prevent gas leaks, check
the pipe joints frequently using foam to see if bubbles are coming off.
● A water heater should be examined, cleaned after it has been used for a period of time (generally
half a year) to ensure normal operation of the heater. Check the flame frequently. When the flame
changes from blue to yellow, accompanied by black smoke, the heater must be cleaned.
● Clean the unit case with water and a neutral cleaner other than a chemical cleaner or volatile
solvent; otherwise, the case will fade and lose shine.
● Clean the filter net at the water inlet of the unit regularly.
● Wipe the unit casing with a soft, clean cloth often.
● Water heaters should be examined, periodically cleaned by professional staff.
● Non-professional personnel cannot open the water heater boxes. Remove the power plug when
opening the housing of a water heater. Do not wet the outlet with water in use to ensure safety.

6. TROUBLESHOOTING
