Applications
Infrared fitting, suitable for:
• Direct connection to cold water supply
• Connection to outlet of upstream mixed water supply
Technical Data
• Minimum flow pressure without
downstream resistances
• Minimum flow pressure with downstream resistances 1 bar
• Recommended flow pressure
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure:
- without downstream resistances
- with spout 42 132 / 42 133
• Temperature
• Supply voltage
• Automatic safety shut-off:
(factory setting)
• Battery check (flashing signal)
• Automatic flushing (factory setting: deactivated)
• Reception range according to Kodak Gray Card,
grey side, 8x10", landscape (factory setting):
- Start / stop water flow
- Automatically stop water flow
• Type of protection
• Run-on time (factory setting)
• Minimum flow rate
If static pressure exceeds 5 bar, a pressure reducing valve
must be fitted.
Special accessories, see Replacement parts, fold-out page I.

Operation
The infrared-electronic system emits invisible, pulsed light.
The infrared electronics are set as follows at the factory:
Start water flow
Hold the hand at a distance of 3 - 7cm in front of the sensor
system (B), see Fig. [2].
Stop water flow
When a person moves out of the detection zone or when the
hand is held near the sensor system again, the water flow is
stopped after 1 s (factory setting).
The range of the sensor system is dependent upon the
reflective properties of the detected object.
