10.2 Start via external control

Sample circuit
a) Connect the motor terminals K, L, and M to the corresponding contacts on the EduTrainer
b) Set the step switch to position 0 or the desired starting position.
(See table above)
c) Connect each of the terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the resistors to 2 normally open contacts of a
contactor.
d) A control (such as a PLC) can be used to switch the resistors on and off according to the rpm.
e) Start your experiment with the motor
