Device-specific additional instructions for nailer
4
Filling the magazine
Ensure that nailer and fasteners are compatible (Chap. 1) with
•
each other.
Check fasteners for proper condition.
•
Put nailer carefully down in defined safe resting position (Chap. 3):
•
The driving nose must point away from any person. It must be
impossible to unintendly actuate trigger and/or release protection.
Reload fasteners 1 from the rear. Then pull feeder 2 to the rear
•
behind the fasteners 1 and let it slide the forwards.
5
Adjusting drive-in depth
Reduce pneumatic operating pressure as far as possible to
•
minimize blowback, noise and air consumption (see General
operating instructions).
Mechanical adjustment of drive-in depth:
Disconnect the tool from the compressed air supply. Loosen
•
screw 1 on the release bracket and push release shoe 2
downwards for less recessed clamps or upwards for more
recessed clamps. Then tighten screw 1 firmly again and
connect the tool with compressed air.
6
Changing the trigger setting
Disconnect
the unit
•
the valve lever from behind and with the other hand set it to single
release (symbol 1 nail) or contact release (symbol with 3 nails).
Reconnect the tool to the pressure source.
7
Removing stuck fasteners from the driving channel
Disconnect the tool from the compressed air supply. Open the magazine as described in chapter 4 and
•
remove the nails. Use pliers to remove jammed fasteners from the magazine. Then reconnect the tool to the
compressed air supply and refill it with nails
