ANTI-BACTERIAL
After the air conditioning unit has been operating in the COOL, HEAT, DRY and AUTO modes, the appliance will
not stop immediately if the ON/OFF button is pressed; instead it will continue to operate at low speed for approxi-
mately 10 minutes. This enables the condensation which has formed during operation to evaporate, thereby pre-
venting the formation of bacteria.
To cancel this function, press the ON/OFF button twice.
CLEAN AIR
Press the CLEAN AIR button to activate the ioniser. This device generates anions which improve the air quality
(and consequently the comfort level) inside the room.
AUTO CLEAN
Press the AUTO CLEAN button during cool or dry operation in order to activate the automatic evaporator cleaning
function. To deactivate the function press the AUTO CLEAN button again.
FAN SPEED SETTING
Press the FAN SPEED button to choose the fan speed from:
LOW (low), MED (medium), HIGH (high).
In AUTO mode, the electronic control chooses the operating mode (COOL- HIGH) and the fan speed. This func-
tion automatically increases the speed of the fan if a greater cooling or heating effect is required.
SLEEP
Press the ON/OFF button, select an operating mode using the MODE button and set the desired temperature.
Press the ECONOMIC RUNNING button and the symbol
tion adjusts the temperature automatically in order to make the room more comfortable at night.
In cooling or dehumidification mode, the temperature set is gradually increased by 2°C during the first two hours
of operation. In heating mode, the temperature set is gradually decreased by 2°C during the first two hours of ope-
ration.
Together with the SLEEP, function, a timed stopping can be programmed up to a maximum of 24 hours by pres-
sing the TIMER OFF button (see timed stopping paragraph).
In the example on the right, the "SLEEP" function has been enabled (in COOLING mode) with timed stopping.
N.B.: IN "SLEEP" function, you can only programme the "TIMER OFF" timed stopping.
TIMER OPERATION
This function allows you to turn the air conditioning unit on (or off) automatically at the desired time.
PROGRAMMED START-UP "TIMER ON"
Before programming the timed start-up, check that the air conditioning unit is set to the desired operating mode.
Press the TIMER ON button to enable the start-up timer function. Every time the button is pressed, the timer figu-
re is increased by 30 minutes, up to a maximum time of 10 hours; after this point the timer figure increases by 60
minutes with each press of the button. To cancel the setting, press the button repeatedly until the display shows
the figure 0:00.
PROGRAMMED STOP "TIMER OFF"
Press the TIMER OFF button to enable the stop timer function. Every time the button is pressed, the timer figure
is increased by 30 minutes, up to a maximum time of 10 hours; after this point the timer figure increases by 60
minutes with each press of the button. To cancel the setting, press the button repeatedly until the display shows
the figure 0:00.
