Intended use

The SL 120 Slit Lamp is a universal instrument system for observation,
diagnosis, measurement and documentation of the anterior eye
segment.
Use only accessories obtained from Carl Zeiss Meditec. If you intend
to use other accessories, absolutely consult the Carl Zeiss Meditec
Service or Sales Department prior to use.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damages resulting from
unauthorized tampering with the device or from the use of unappro-
ved accessories. Besides, this will void all warranties.
Any use differing from the one described is in the resposibility of the
user.
Read and observe the highlighted safety instructions and notes of
this manual with particular attention and care.
The instrument may only be operated by instructed and trained staff.
It is the responsibility of the owner of the equipment to have staff
trained and instructed in its use.
