Replacing the bulb
Warning
Before replacing the bulb, switch the instrument off and disconnect the
power cord.
Let the bulb cool down or grasp it with protective gloves.
•
Loosen knurled screw (4, Fig. 25) to remove the cover of the lamp
housing.
•
Withdraw the lamp holder (1, Fig. 25) of the bulb (2, Fig. 25).
•
Press spring-loaded catch (3, Fig. 25) to unlock the bulb (2, Fig. 25).
•
Then, pull out the defective bulb while tilting it slightly, if necessary.
Without touching the glass bulb, push new bulb (2, Fig. 25) (6 V, 20 W)
into the opening until it snaps in. Observe the alignment of the
locating pins.
•
Slide the lamp holder (1, Fig. 25) onto the contact pins of the bulb
(2, Fig. 25).
•
Let the catch (3, Fig. 25) engage again.
•
Finally, attach the cover and fix it by means of the knurled screw
(4, Fig. 25).
