Sawing off larger branches
When sawing larger branches (Ø 8–20 cm),
first make a relief cut
NOTE
A relief cut must not be carried out with an
angle-adjusted saw head. There is a risk of
kick-back and the device becomes uncontrol-
lable.
A relief cut also prevents peeling of the bark
on the main trunk.
