- Torque wrench, 20 - 110 Nm
10 mm (3/8") external square
- Adaptor
10 mm (3/8") internal square
12.5 mm (1/2") external square
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Hold torque wrench with scale visible and unlock handle by turning the black
lock screw (A) on the end of the handle counter-clockwise (fig.1).
2. Adjust torque value by turning the handle. The exact value can be determined
by using the scale.
3. Example 48 Nm: turn the handle clockwise until the edge of the handle is on
the horizontal 40 Nm line and the 0 on the handle is on the vertical line on the
body of the torque wrench (fig.2).
This setting corresponds to 40 Nm.
4. Continue to turn the handle clockwise (fig.3) until the 8 rather than the 0 is on
the vertical line (corresponds to 48 Nm).
5. The handle can now be locked by turning the lock screw clockwise (fig.1). An
inadvertent adjustment is no longer possible after the handle is locked.
6. Connect an appropriate socket spanner to the torque wrench and place the
torque wrench on the screw that is to be tightened. Tighten the screw slowly
and evenly until a click sound can be heard, then stop tightening immediately.
Beware that in the case of lower torque values, the click sound is quieter and
can be missed in a noisy environment .
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•
From time to time, adjust the torque wrench from the lowest to the highest value, thereby
distributing the special internal lubricant to all components.
•
When the wrench is not used, it must be turned back to the lowest value.
•
Do not adjust the torque wrench below the minimal or maximum torque value.
•
Once the set torque is reached, the torque wrench must not be turned further by force, as damage
to the mechanics may result.
•
The torque wrench is relatively robust, but it should be remembered that it is a precision gauge and
must be treated as such.
•
The torque wrench may be cleaned with a dry cloth. Do not dip it in a cleaning agent, as the special
internal lubricant can be affected and the wrench destroyed.
•
This torque wrench was calibrated before it left the factory and was tested to an accuracy of ± 4%.
•
The wretch is designed exclusively for tightening screw connections with right-handed threads.
•
The user is responsible for making sure that calibration and maintenance are carried out on a
regular basis.
